How to Grant Access to Existing Users in Another Subsidiary Account

Modified on Wed, 17 Sep at 5:55 PM

In some cases, an employee may need to be included in more than one subsidiary account. To achieve this, you’ll need to create a new employee profile in the additional subsidiary.

⚠️ Important requirements before proceeding:

  • Make sure there is no existing employee profile in the new subsidiary with the same name and email.

  • If the employee has been off-boarded in their previous subsidiary, archive their old profile first. This will free up their email for reuse.

  • Updating an existing profile is not possible, a new profile must be created in the new subsidiary.

Once these conditions are met, you can add the employee either individually or via bulk upload.

Option 1: Add an Individual Employee

1. In the left-hand navigation bar, go to My Employees > Add User.

2. Select Add Existing Employee.

3. Enter the employee's details. The name and email must exactly match the details in the original subsidiary account. This ensures the system can automatically link the profiles.

4. Click Create Existing Employee. The employee’s profile will now be linked to both subsidiaries.

Option 2: Add Employees via Bulk Upload

1. In the left-hand navigation bar, go to My Employees > Add User.

2. Select Bulk Import.

3. Click Blank Template to download the bulk upload Excel template.

4. Fill in the employee details in the template:

  • The name and email must match the details in the original subsidiary account.

  • Set the Access Mode to Employee.

5. Save and upload the completed template. Once uploaded, the profiles will be linked automatically.
