Enabling Face Recognition

Modified on Thu, 22 Aug at 12:57 PM

Based on your business needs, you can implement HReasily's facial recognition time-in function in two ways:

Time In / Time Out using Staff Devices

Employees can clock in and out using their own mobile devices, making this option ideal for field staff who are frequently on the move.

Requirements:

  • Each employee must have a device running Android 5.1 or iOS 11.0 with GPS, WiFi, and cellular data capabilities.
  • The HReasilyPro app must be installed on all devices.
  • Access must be provided to all employees.

Time In / Time Out using Company Device (Kiosk)

Employees will use a central device to clock in and out, without needing to log into personal accounts. This setup is ideal for factory, warehouse, or desk-bound staff. The kiosk will be stationed at the company’s office and will not adhere to location radius settings.

Requirements:

Activating Face Recognition in Timesheet Settings

1. Go to Timesheet > Timesheet Settings > Settings.

2. On the Settings page, scroll down to the Face Recognition section and select the appropriate options.

Configuring Time In/Out via Mobile

1. Navigate to Company > Company Settings.

2. Scroll to Work Week and click "Add New Work Week" to create a new one, or use the edit button to adjust existing work weeks.

3. In the Advanced Timesheet Settings, select the box for "Allow employees to start and end shifts from the mobile app?" and save.

Configuring Assignment Settings

1. Navigate to Timesheet > Timesheet Settings > Assignments.

2. To create a new assignment, click "New Assignment," or use the edit button to modify existing ones.

3. Select the "Require employee to submit a selfie while starting shift." option to enable time in and out using selfies. Then, click "Save."
