This setting is used exclusively for overtime calculations. It determines how the hourly rate is calculated for specific overtime pay items.
The setting applies to the following predefined overtime pay items:
- Overtime @ 100% hourly rate
- Overtime @ 150% hourly rate
- Overtime @ 200% hourly rate
- Overtime @ 300% hourly rate
Days in Month Type for Overtime Calculation
This setting defines how the system divides the monthly salary into a daily rate, which is then used as the base for calculating the hourly overtime rate.
You can select from the following options:
● Calendar Days (e.g., 28, 30, or 31 depending on the month)
● Working Days (e.g., weekdays excluding weekends and holidays)
● Fixed Amount (e.g., fixed 30 days regardless of the actual calendar)
Working Hours in a Day
This value is used to divide the daily rate into an hourly rate.
For example:
If the daily rate is THB 1,000 and working hours per day is set to 8, then:
Hourly Rate = THB 1,000 ÷ 8 = THB 125 per hour
Decimals
This option lets you specify how many decimal places should be used in the overtime calculation result.
For example:
2 decimals → 125.50
0 decimals → 126
Rounding
This setting determines how the system rounds the overtime calculation result:
● Normal Rounding: Rounds to the nearest value (e.g., 125.49 → 125, 125.50 → 126)
● Rounding Up: Always rounds up (e.g., 125.01 → 126)
● Rounding Down: Always rounds down (e.g., 125.99 → 125)
You can apply Overtime Calculation Settings to specific Employee Groups, allowing different groups of employees to follow different overtime calculation rules based on their contract or pay structure.
Note: Each Employee Group can only be assigned to one Overtime Calculation Setting at a time.
